Job summary

Valued Hire Group is seeking an experienced Hire Desk Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hire desk and lead a growing team in the UK.

You will coordinate plant and equipment hire, manage supplier relationships, organise deliveries and collections, and ensure accurate hire records while delivering excellent customer service to site teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience within plant hire, tool hire or the construction industry.
• Previous experience managing or leading a team.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with suppliers, customers and staff.
• Able to manage a busy hire desk and work well under pressure.
• Strong problem solver with a proactive approach.
• Reliable, driven and a great team leader.
