Job summary

Vibe Recruit in Caerphilly is seeking an experienced Hire Desk Controller to join a growing hire industry business. You will take ownership of the role, manage your workload and contribute to ongoing development of the department.

We are looking for a commercially minded individual with strong sales ability, excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach. The role requires strong organisation and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous Hire Desk, sales support or customer service experience.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisation and workload management.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and IT systems.
• Self-sufficient, proactive and able to work on your own initiative.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare quotations, hire contracts and off-hires.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections with the operations team.
• Build strong customer relationships and maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate hire records and support the invoicing process.
• Resolve customer queries professionally.
• Monitor fleet availability and work closely with internal teams.

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

The Role
