Job summary

Speedy, the UK’s leading hire provider, is seeking a Hire Controller in Milton Keynes to join our depot team. You’ll own the hire process from order to delivery and collection, coordinating with stock, drivers and engineers to meet customer needs and ensure excellent service.

Based in the depot, you’ll build strong relationships with customers and internal departments, handle enquiries, and support our ESG strategy while enjoying a range of benefits and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills are required.
• Commitment to learn and develop in a fast-paced hire environment.
• Driving licence is essential.
• Experience in hire industry or related sales/operations is preferred.
• Ability to support ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with depot teams to ensure equipment availability and timely fulfilment.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments to meet needs and ensure service excellence.
