Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Sheffield is seeking a Hire Controller to join our frontline sales and customer service team. You will coordinate the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with depot teams to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.

Based at the depot, you will work Mon-Fri, 42 hours a week, with strong organisational and communication skills, a driving license, and prior experience in hire or related sales/ops roles.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn.
• Experience in hire industry or similar sales/operational role.
• Ability to support cross-department coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end hire process from order to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with depot, stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays and ensure customer satisfaction.
