Job summary

Hi Vis Hire Ltd. in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking a proactive Hire Controller to own the hire lifecycle from enquiry through to off-hire. You will coordinate deliveries, collections and customer requirements, maximise fleet utilisation and ensure first-class service for every client.

The role demands strong organisational and communication skills, a customer-first mindset and commercial awareness to grow hire revenue and key accounts within a growing modular and site accommodation business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hire, plant, tool hire, modular, construction, accommodation, or related industry.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A proactive, customer-first attitude.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Commercial awareness and a drive to contribute to business growth.
• A positive approach with a natural problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full hire lifecycle from enquiry to off-hire.
• Coordinating deliveries, collections, and customer requirements.
• Maximising fleet utilisation and product availability.
• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving queries quickly.
• Working closely with operations and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintaining accurate hire records, contracts, and invoicing.
• Identifying opportunities to increase hire revenue and grow customer accounts.
