Sunbelt Rentals Limited is recruiting a Hire Controller in the UK to deliver a best-in-class customer service experience at the depot. You will greet customers, handle enquiries face-to-face, on the phone and by email, and manage orders from enquiry to post-hire feedback.

You will use product knowledge to maximise upselling opportunities and build relationships with regular customers, while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced, operation-driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role, preferably inbound order enquiries.
• Experience in hire or construction industry advantageous but not essential.
• Experience developing and utilising product knowledge.
• Exceptional communication including negotiating and influencing.
• Comfortable with own judgment and initiative to make decisions.
• Effective team member with a collaborative approach.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and process enhancement.
• Good level of computer literacy in MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Be the first point of contact, welcoming customers at the depot.
• Handle customer enquiries face to face, by phone, email and website requests.
• Manage each order from enquiry to post-hire feedback.
• Build relationships with regular customers and maximise upselling opportunities.
• Ensure accurate processing and high standards of service in a busy operation.
