Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a Hire Controller to look after customers, build relationships and understand their needs to help them do it better. You will manage an order from enquiry to post-hire feedback, communicating by phone, email and website requests.

This role offers a hands-on, highly operational environment in the UK’s largest equipment rental provider, with a flexible rewards package, generous holiday allowance and a company pension scheme.

Formación

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role.
• Previous experience in the hire or construction industry would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in developing and utilising product knowledge.
• Exceptional communication skills including negotiating and influencing.
• Comfortable using your own judgment and initiative to make decisions.
• An effective team member with a highly supportive, collaborative approach.
• A flexible and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to continuous improvement.
• Good level of computer literacy in MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Handle in-bound order/sales enquiries and complete transactions.
• Deliver best-in-class service and maximise upselling opportunities using product knowledge.
• Manage an order from enquiry to post-hire feedback and own the customer journey.
• Build relationships with regular customers and ensure high standards of accuracy.
• Communicate with customers by telephone, email and website requests.
• Work in a fast-paced, operational, service-focused environment.
