The position is full-time and permanent, with flexible shift patterns including sleep-ins and weekends. You will join a supportive team dedicated to safeguarding and the wellbeing of vulnerable young people.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willing to achieve within timeframe.
• Motivation to create a positive impact on young people's lives.
• Strong safeguarding understanding for vulnerable children and young people.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays.
• Experience is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting, nurturing relationships to promote wellbeing.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and professionals to support each child.
• Help with home upkeep, including cooking, cleaning, and safety.
• Accurately document information and keep records up to date per safeguarding policies.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment in line with health and safety procedures.
