Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker for our new Emotional Wellbeing Assessment Home in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The role supports children and young people aged 8-18, promoting confidence, independence and social skills in a nurturing setting.

You will work as part of a team to build trust, document progress, and ensure safeguarding at all times. Hybrid working arrangements and competitive pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to build trust and resilience in children and young people.
• Understand safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children.
• Flexible to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins.
• Relevant experience with children and young people is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Building trust and nurturing relationships to promote wellbeing and independence.
• Collaborating with parents, carers, and professionals to support each child.
• Contributing to upkeep of the home, cooking, cleaning, and safety.
• Accurate documentation and up-to-date records.
• Adhering to safeguarding policies to protect vulnerable young people.
• Maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment at all times.
