Vetro Recruitment is recruiting for a Residential Support Worker - Waking Nights in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to provide care and support to vulnerable children and young people in a dedicated home setting.

The role entails building trust, working with families and professionals, domestic duties, and meticulous record-keeping while following safeguarding and health & safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve within the required timeframe.
• Desirable: relevant experience working with children and young people.

Responsabilités

• Build trusting relationships to promote the independence and wellbeing of children and young people.
• Work with parents, carers, and professionals to support each child's needs.
• Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Accurately documenting information and keeping records up to date in line with safeguarding policies.
• Promote a safe, supportive environment, adhering to safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
