The role oversees highway maintenance activities, supports frontline teams and ensures works meet safety, quality and contractual standards. You will coordinate labour, plant and materials while managing records and reporting progress to stakeholders.

• Experience supervising highways maintenance or similar operations.
• Ability to coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.

• Experience with records and works management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operational teams carrying out highways maintenance activities.
• Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with procedures and contracts.
• Monitor progress against programmes and support delivery of planned and reactive works.
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks to ensure standards.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Maintain records and update works management systems.
• Collaborate with teams, clients and stakeholders to support service delivery.
• Assist in emergency response and winter maintenance when required.
• Promote a positive safety culture and compliance with HSE standards.
• Identify improvements to enhance service delivery.
