Amey is seeking a Highway Supervisor at Pytchley Depot, Kettering (NN15 6XS). The role oversees highway maintenance teams, ensures safe delivery of works, and coordinates with clients and subcontractors to meet contractual standards.

Standard hours are 45 per week on a 5/2 rotating shift covering day and night. Amey offers training, development and pension benefits, plus a range of flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways maintenance or civil engineering operations.
• Proven ability to supervise operational teams and support service delivery.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Experience planning, coordinating or monitoring work activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operational teams carrying out highways maintenance activities.
• Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with procedures and contractual requirements.
• Monitor progress against programmes and support timely delivery of works.
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks to ensure standards are met.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Maintain records and update works management systems.
• Liaise with clients, authorities and stakeholders on planned activities.
• Assist in emergency response and winter maintenance when required.
