Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Highways Engineer to contribute to the technical delivery of highway infrastructure projects and to support a growing portfolio of transportation schemes.

You will work within a collaborative design team, delivering robust designs using highways design and drainage tools while mentoring junior colleagues and coordinating with project managers to bring initiatives from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team responsible for the technical delivery of highway infrastructure projects.
• Use highways design, drainage and other software packages to deliver robust designs.
• Mentor and coach team members and develop their technical capabilities.
• Assist Project Managers on technical aspects from initiation to completion.
• Delegate work, plan deliverables and monitor progress.
• Support work-winning activities, represent the business at networking events and tender preparation.
