Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Highways Engineer for the Transportation team. You’ll contribute to technical delivery of highway infrastructure projects, using design and drainage software to craft robust solutions and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team responsible for the technical delivery of highway infrastructure projects.
• Using highways design, drainage and other software packages to deliver technically robust designs.
• Mentoring and coaching team members and taking responsibility for their technical development.
• Assisting Project Managers on technical aspects of designs from project initiation through to completion.
• Delegating work to team members, programming deliverables and monitoring progress.
• Support the business in work winning activities including representing the business at networking events and preparing tenders.
