VolkerHighways is recruiting a Commercial Administrator to support our Highways Maintenance contract in Wokingham. Based at our Hoddesdon head office, you will assist the commercial and operational teams with reporting, cost control and revenue recovery.

The role involves coordinating AFPs, validating data, monitoring payments and costs, and preparing regular financial reports. You will liaise with clients and suppliers and develop efficient commercial processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative or commercial support.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Excellent organisation and time management, able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication with stakeholders and proactive team support.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, review and submit weekly Applications for Payment (AFP) in line with contract.
• Validate data, site records and documentation to identify discrepancies.
• Monitor certification, payment status and outstanding AFPs for cash collection.
• Track costs across labour, plant, fleet, subcontractors, materials and overheads.
• Support onboarding and administration of subcontractor accounts and reporting.
