Job summary

VolkerHighways is seeking a Lead Operative to join the Traffic Management team at the Wokingham depot. You will install, maintain and remove traffic management as per Chapter 8 and scheme drawings, while demonstrating safety and quality without compromise.

You will work under supervision and collaborate with colleagues to deliver reliable traffic management services. The role requires prior traffic management and highways maintenance experience, a full UK driving license, and a 12D/M1-M6 LTMO or

Qualifications

• Previous experience in traffic management operations.
• Previous experience in highways maintenance.
• Holder of 12D M1-M6 and/or 12A/B LTMO/Foreman.
• Holder of full valid UK driving license.
• Holder of valid First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).

About the role

We currently have a superb opportunity for a Lead Operative to join our Traffic Management business, working out of our Wokingham depot.

The successful candidate will work to instruction from supervisors, ensuring all traffic management is installed, maintained and removed in accordance with Chapter 8 and scheme drawings, whilst demonstrating by example a Safety and Quality approach that is without compromise.

About you

• Previous experience in traffic management operations
• Previous experience in highways maintenance
• Holder of 12D M1-M6 and/or 12A/B LTMO/Foreman
• Holder of full valid UK driving license
• Holder of valid First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
