Job summary

St Thomas Becket Catholic School in Northampton is seeking an HLTA to support teachers and pupils. You will deliver learning activities to groups, assist with lesson planning and assessment, and help track pupil progress.

Job description

As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting both teachers and students. Your responsibilities will include:

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent.

It is desirable that you have experience of working in a similar role in an educational environment. We are looking for someone who is flexible, self-motivated, reliable and confident with an enthusiasm for what this role can do for our children and their learning.

The role will include supporting our SEND students within the classroom or 1:1 session, ensuring their access to learning. To assist in the development of appropriate resources to ensure the school supports each identified student’s learning needs. Experience in EAL support would be advantageous.
