Job summary

• Hold a recognised HLTA qualification alongside proven experience as a teaching assistant within a primary school setting.
• Act as an experienced primary school practitioner who actively enhances and develops the interaction, communication, and educational needs of all pupils.
• Utilise HLTA expertise and qualifications to confidently cover PPA and release time for teachers across all year groups, including managing short-term and last-minute absence cover with a highly flexible, adaptable attitude.
• Work as an effective, hard-working team player within the Key Stage team, reporting regularly to class teachers regarding pupil progress, achievements, and any challenges.

Further details about the role

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, highly passionate, and versatile professional in a combined Teaching Assistant (TA) and Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role. The successful candidate will support delivery of excellent teaching and learning throughout either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, dependent upon experience. You will play an integral part in our primary school setting, working collaboratively to enhance pupils’ learning experiences, support inclusion, and provide high-quality classroom cover.
