JOB TITLE - HLTA

Prospero Teaching is seeking an HLTA for a Primary School based in Heywood.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The school is a welcoming and supportive primary setting with a strong sense of community and a dedicated teaching team. It continues to go from strength to strength and offers regular CPD opportunities throughout the year.

Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
  • Location - Heywood
  • Position - HLTA
  • Start date - November 2025
  • Full time/part time - Full-time
  • Minimum rate of pay - 104 - 110 per day
  • Hours - 8:20 am - 4:00 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Recent Graduate with a 2:1 or higher (desirable)
  • Previous experience working in a UK primary school
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year
  • Qualified Teaching Status or HLTA qualification
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
