Job summary

Weston College is recruiting a Project Manager for its Technical Excellence College (TEC). Based in Weston-super-Mare, you will lead Higher Education development projects that support growth, enhance provision, and align with strategic aims.

You will identify new provision with partners, oversee apprenticeships and short courses, and mentor staff moving from industry to teaching. You will work with senior leaders and curriculum teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Be Educated to Level 6 or above.
• Have experience of teaching at Higher Education Level.
• Have significant experience of managing complex projects or programmes.
• Have the ability to analyse complex information and track multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Higher Education development projects that support growth, enhancement and long-term ambitions of Weston College's Higher Education provision.
• Identify and develop new provision with strategic partners.
• Include apprenticeships, short courses and other relevant qualifications which meet regional skills needs.
• Mentor and support staff new to teaching, especially those transitioning from industry to teaching.
• Work closely with senior leaders, curriculum teams and external stakeholders to enhance quality and ensure compliance with quality assurance processes.
