Job summary

Five Guys in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily store operations, drive profitability, and coach the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will own the P&L, manage costs, and develop a strong talent pipeline while maintaining the brand’s standards.

You will lead by example on the shop floor, work hands-on when needed, and foster a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of General Management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Proven track record of driving sales, managing costs and achieving targets.
• Strong leadership, coaching and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and drive profitability while maintaining high service standards.
• Coach, develop and manage team members to deliver consistent results.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance across the store.
