Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist in Greater London. The role involves delivering high-quality CBT and short interventions across multiple platforms—including face-to-face, telephone, and video sessions.

You’ll conduct comprehensive assessments, align treatment pathways, and work within client-insurance budgets. Applicants should have a Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT and BABCP accreditation, with at least two years' post-qualification experience in high-intensity CBT.

Qualifications

• Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT (BABCP accredited)
• Full BABCP accreditation as a practitioner
• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification high-intensity CBT experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead, organise and supervise clinical practice

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality CBT or brief interventions with strong clinical outcomes
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to guide care pathways
• Offer face-to-face, telephone, or video sessions per client preference
• Adhere to Bupa case management processes and collaborate with clinical leads
• Work within sessional limits dictated by client private medical insurance
• Provide signposting or onward referrals when required
• Deliver group psychoeducation and wellbeing presentations
• Attend regular clinical supervision (individual and group)
• Manage caseloads and work towards defined targets
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and diaries
