Job summary

RH Commercial Vehicles is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our Newark-area workshop. You'll service, diagnose and repair a range of trucks and vans, supported by manufacturer training and modern facilities.

This role offers 42.5 hours per week, with 6:00-15:00 or 11:00-20:00 shifts, and an OTE up to £50,000 with overtime. We provide a tooling scheme, progression, pension and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience servicing and repairing trucks and vans.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Complete work to DVSA and manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic equipment and workshop systems.
• Support apprentices and wider team.
• Keep up to date with technical developments and training.

• Up to £20 an hour + overtime = OTE: Up to £50,000 a year (depending on experience)

Shift Pattern

• 42.5 hours a week, alternate shifts
• Earlies: 06:00 - 15:00
• Lates: 11:00 - 20:00

What you'll be doing?

What we're looking for

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Commercial Vehicle Repair or equivalent
• Experience working on commercial vehicles such as Trucks and Vans
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full driving licence
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable Skills

• Main dealer experience
• HGV Licence
• Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks experience
