Job summary

RH Commercial Vehicles is seeking skilled HGV Technicians to join a growing workshop team in Nottingham. You will service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles, with diagnostics and repairs to DVSA and manufacturer standards, supported by manufacturer training and career progression opportunities.

The role offers an OTE up to £50,000 with overtime, a £1,500 tooling allowance, 25 days holiday, a pension, and ongoing training in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience with commercial vehicles such as trucks and vans.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Main dealer experience.
• HGV licence.
• Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks experience.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently.
• Complete work to DVSA and manufacturer standards.
• Using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems.
• Supporting apprentices and wider team.
• Keeping up to date with technical developments and training.

Skills

Shift Pattern

• Minimum 42.5 hours a week
• Shift 1: Monday – Friday: 15:30 – 00:00
• Shift 2: Tuesday – Friday: 06:00 – 15:30
• Alternative Saturdays: 6:00 – 15:30

• Full driving licence
• Positive attitude and willingness to lear
