RH Commercial Vehicles in Leicester is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to service, maintain and repair trucks and vans in a modern workshop. You will work with ongoing manufacturer training and have clear opportunities for career progression.

The role offers 40 hours per week across early and late shifts, with overtime and a £1,500 annual tooling allowance. Realistic earnings up to £50,000, plus 25 days holiday and a pension.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Commercial Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
• Experience working on commercial vehicles such as Trucks and Vans.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full driving licence.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
• Complete work to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems
• Supporting apprentices and wider team
• Keeping up to date with technical developments and training.

HGV Technician | OTE: Up to £50,000

• Cossington, Leicester
• From £19 per hour + overtime = OTE: £50,000

Working within our modern, recently refurbished workshop environment, you’ll maintain a variety of trucks and vans while benefiting from ongoing manufacturer training, excellent earning potential and genuine opportunities to progress your career.

Shift Pattern

• 40 hours a week, alternating shifts
• Early Shift: Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 14:30
• Late Shift: Monday - Friday: 13:30 - 22:00
• Alternate Saturday: 06:00 - 12:00 (paid at overtime)

Desirable Skills

• Main dealer experience
• HGV Licence
• Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks experience
