As the shift supervisor you will be responsible for…

• Supervise a team of HGV Technicians, ensuring top‑quality work and productivity.
• Organise workloads, schedule jobs, and keep operations running smoothly.
• Maximise shift performance through problem‑solving, coaching, and team development.
• Perform hands‑on diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs and LCVs.Ensure compliance with DVSA, Health & Safety standards, and VOSA regulations.
• Mentor and support team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Provide progress updates to management and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct routine maintenance, safety checks, and prepare vehicles for MOT.
• Sign off on My Check documents and carry out quality control on repairs.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and ensure adherence to H&S standards.
• Attend required training courses to stay up‑to‑date.

What we're looking for…

• Qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an HGV workshop
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs and LCVs.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

You’ll really hit the ground running if you have…

• A full HGV Licence (not essential)
• Experience with the Renault Trucks and Isuzu Trucks product
• Experience in a Renault Trucks and Isuzu Trucks dealership
