Job summary

RH Commercial Vehicles is looking for skilled HGV Technicians to join our Leicester workshop. You will service and repair trucks and vans, benefit from manufacturer training and a clear career progression path.

We offer 40 hours per week across early and late shifts, regular overtime, a £1,500 tooling allowance and generous holiday entitlement. Training and progression are core to our team ethos.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Commercial Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
• Experience working on commercial vehicles such as Trucks and Vans.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full and clean driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently.
• Complete work to DVSA and manufacturer standards.
• Using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems.
• Supporting apprentices and wider team.
• Keeping up to date with technical developments and training.

Working within our modern, recently refurbished workshop environment, you’ll maintain a variety of trucks and vans while benefiting from ongoing manufacturer training, excellent earning potential and genuine opportunities to progress your career.

• 40 hours a week, alternating shifts
• Early Shift: Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 14:30
• Late Shift: Monday - Friday: 13:30 - 22:00
• Alternate Saturday: 06:00 - 12:00 (paid at overtime)
• £50,000 realistic earnings depending on experience and 10 hours overtime
