Job summary

RH Commercial Vehicles Ltd. in Coventry is seeking skilled HGV Technicians to join our modern, well-equipped workshop. You will service, repair and maintain trucks and vans, using diagnostic tools, and ensure work meets DVSA and manufacturer standards.

OTE earnings can reach up to £50,000 depending on experience, with a £20/hour base rate plus overtime. The role offers manufacturer training, ongoing career progression, a tooling allowance of £1,500 annually, and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Commercial Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
• Experience working on heavy vehicles such as trucks and vans.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently.
• Complete work to DVSA and manufacturer standards.
• Using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems.
• Supporting apprentices and wider team.

Shift Pattern

• Rotating Shifts
• Early: Mon - Friday: 06:00 - 15:30
• Late: Mon - Fri: 12:30 - 22:00, Sat: 08:00 - 12:00
• Call out rota

What we’re looking for

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Desirable Skills Main dealer experience HGV Licence Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks
