James Lewis Recruitment is seeking an HGV Technician/Mechanic/Fitter for our Hull workshop. The role involves maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks and trailers, with a Monday–Friday pattern and a permanent contract.

Candidates should be time-served with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 preferred, and hold a valid driving licence. Own tools are advantageous and training opportunities are provided.

Qualificações

• Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred).
• Proven experience repairing and maintaining trucks and components.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Own tools preferred.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out planned maintenance and servicing on trucks and trailers.
• Fast and accurate diagnostics and fault finding using diagnostic tools.
• Mechanical and electrical repairs, working independently.
• Vehicle inspections and compliance checks (MOT, tachograph, etc.).
• Final checks on completed work.

Job Title: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 OTE

Shift: Monday to Friday, rotating 7:00am - 4:30pm and 11:00am - 8:30pm

Type: Permanent

Location: Hull

• Final checks on completed work.
