Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Hull. Travel to Immingham, Gainsborough and Grantham; company van provided for travel. The hub is in Hull and the role features a structured pattern with early/late shifts.

Salary ranges from £37,000 to £40,000 per year, with overtime opportunities and benefits including pension and 20 days holiday. NVQ3 and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years experience as an HGV Technician/HGV Mechanic.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence; HGV licence beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure work meets high safety and quality standards.
• Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop in Hull. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable, full-time role with a competitive hourly rate and structured working pattern. The hub for this role will be in Hull and there will be travel to Immingham, Gainsborough and Grantham. From time to time you will work in the Immingham Depot, but a company van will be provided for company travel.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
• Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
• Working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 3-4 years experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
