Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy Hull workshop. This role involves maintenance, servicing and repairs on heavy goods vehicles, with travel to Immingham, Gainsborough and Grantham, and occasional work at the Immingham Depot.

A company van is provided for travel. You will diagnose faults with diagnostic equipment, complete job cards and maintenance records, and work as part of a supportive team in a safety‑critical environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs.
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards.
• Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately.

Working Hours: Mon to Fri 06:00-14:00/ 08:00-16:00

Salary: £37,000-£40,000

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop in Hull. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable, full-time role with a competitive hourly rate and structured working pattern. The hub for this role will be in Hull and there will be travel to Immingham, Gainsborough and Grantham. From time to time you will work in the Immingham Depot, but a company van will be provided for company travel.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
• Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
• Working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 3-4 years experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
