Accord Resourcing Ltd in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Senior HGV Technician to join a modern, expanding workshop. You will service, maintain and repair a mixed fleet of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring work is completed safely and to high standards.

This role offers £50,000–£60,000 per year, with overtime available and genuine opportunities to progress into supervisory or management roles. Level 3 in HGV maintenance is essential, and you will join a professional team with long-term

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification required for the role.
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician to perform servicing and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair of a mixed fleet of heavy commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Complete MOT preparation and compliance work.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify complex issues.
• Ensure accurate completion of job cards and service records.
• Support junior technicians where required.
• Work closely with workshop control and parts teams to maintain productivity.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior HGV Technician to join a modern and expanding commercial vehicle workshop based in Peterborough. The role

You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a mixed fleet of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
• Complete MOT preparation and compliance work
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify complex issues
• Ensure accurate completion of job cards and service records
• Support junior technicians where required
• Work closely with workshop control and parts teams to maintain productivity
