Job summary

Octane Recruitment is recruiting for an HGV Technician in Peterborough. A brand new workshop with modern facilities offers a long‑term role, Monday to Friday 7:30am–4:30pm. Salary: Up to 18.08 per hour, with a £1,500 signing bonus and comprehensive benefits.

You will diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles for premium brands and prepare for MOT, working with a friendly team. Requires at least 3 years in a busy workshop, Level 3 HGV Technician or equivalent, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy workshop.
• You must hold Level 3 HGV Technician or equivalent (City & Guilds, NVQ or IMI).
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles.
• Working with top brands like Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford.
• Ensuring all vehicles meet safety and quality standards.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT.
