Carbon60 is seeking an HGV Technician to join a busy workshop team maintaining a modern fleet of commercial vehicles and plant equipment. The role covers diagnostics, repairs, servicing and MOT preparation to ensure fleet reliability and compliance.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults, carry out MOTs and roadside support where needed. A proactive approach to safety and quality is essential for this varied, hands-on role in London.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair desirable.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills required.
• Experience working on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.

Mansioni

• Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs and associated plant equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently.
• Complete HGV MOT inspections, preparation and associated remedial work.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work across a range of vehicles, carrying out diagnostics, repairs, servicing and MOT preparation to ensure fleet reliability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs and associated plant equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently.

About You

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Vehicle Technician or Mechanical Fitter.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent is desirable.
• HGV licence advantageous but not essential.
• A proactive approach to maintenance, safety and quality of work.
