Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd in the EH22 area is seeking an HGV Technician to join a busy workshop, servicing a fleet of Volvo, DAF and Scania vehicles.

The role offers a backshift (1pm, 2pm, 3pm or 4pm starts) with 4 x 10-hour days or 5 x 8-hour days and 40-45 hours per week. Overtime is paid at 1.5x to 2x. Base salary £40,000-£45,000 with OTE up to £65,000.

Qualifications

• Qualified or time-served HGV Technician.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.

We are recruiting for an HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in the EH22 area, working on a fleet of Volvo, DAF and Scania vehicles.

HGV Technician Shift Pattern

• Backshift starts available at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm or 4pm
• 4 x 10-hour days or 5 x 8-hour days - Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday
• 40-45 hours per week
• Genuine flexibility to suit the right candidate
• Overtime paid at 1.5x

HGV Technician Requirements

• Qualified or time-served HGV Technician
• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles
• Class 1 or Class 2 licence not required
• Must be comfortable moving HGVs around the workshop and yard
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
