Job summary

Adler & Allan Ltd. is seeking a reliable HGV Tanker Driver for our Brize Norton depot. The role involves operating in a small team to deliver site tankering works, including jetting, drain cleaning, and interceptor servicing for petrol filling stations and distribution centres.

Training will be provided for drainage tasks. You will respond to call-outs, complete paperwork promptly, and liaise with customers on site while maintaining a clean vehicle and safe, well-ordered equipment.

Qualifications

• Reliable HGV driver able to work in a depot environment.
• Drainage experience isn’t required as full training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform site tankering works including jetting and drain cleaning, interceptor cleaning and servicing at petrol stations and distribution centres.
• Respond to call-outs for critical issues.
• Complete all works paperwork and submit to divisional supervision in a timely manner.
• Liaise with customers on site to discuss ongoing works and future services.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure equipment, PPE and tools are in good order and available for use.
• Inform supervision of any damage or issues promptly.

Operating from Brize Norton and travelling south of the UK, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly and identifying root causes and provide customers with long a term solution.

More about the role:

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, which will include jetting and drain cleaning works, interceptor cleaning and servicing and reactive works on petrol filling stations and distribution centres.
• Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
