Job summary

Adler and Allan in Rainham operates from Rainham and covers the south of the UK. We are hiring an HGV Tanker Driver for Brize Norton, with 3–4 nights out a week. The position is permanent, full-time, Mon–Fri, with a competitive salary plus benefits.

You will join a small team performing site tankering works, jetting and drain cleaning at petrol stations and distribution centres, ensuring EA guideline compliance and providing long‑term solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• Reliable HGV driver with a valid licence.
• Willing to work 3–4 nights out per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform site tankering works.

• Liaise with on-site customers to discuss ongoing works and services.

Operating from Rainham and travelling south of the UK, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly and identifying root causes and provide customers with long a term solution.

The duties of this position include a high degree of manual work required when cleaning site drainage and tank systems to ensure compliance with the EA Guidelines/regulations.

More about the role:

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, which will include jetting and drain cleaning works, interceptor cleaning and servicing and reactive works on petrol filling stations and distribution centres.
• Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
