Adler & Allan is hiring an HGV Tanker Driver for Brize Norton with 3-4 nights out weekly, based around Tunbridge Wells. The role is permanent, full-time, Mon–Fri, with a competitive salary and overtime on weekends.

You will work in the Forecourt Services division, operating in teams to service major oil companies and independent customers. Training will be provided for drainage tasks and regulatory compliance is a key part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Reliable HGV driver with a can-do attitude.
• Willing to train for drainage tasks and site duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a one/two person team delivering site tankering works, including jetting and drain cleaning at petrol stations and distribution centres.
• Respond to call outs for critical issues and document actions.
• Maintain equipment, PPE and vehicle in good order and report any damage.
• Complete works paperwork accurately and submit to supervision in a timely manner.
• Liaise with on-site supervision regarding works and possible improvements.
• Undertake any other duties within qualification as required.

Operating from Tunbridge Wells and travelling south of the UK, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly and identifying root causes and provide customers with long a term solution.

The duties of this position include a high degree of manual work required when cleaning site drainage and tank systems to ensure compliance with the EA Guidelines/regulations.

More about the role:

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, which will include jetting and drain cleaning works, interceptor cleaning and servicing and reactive works on petrol filling stations and distribution centres.
• Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
