Job summary

Adler and Allan Group is seeking a dedicated HGV driver (ADR or non-ADR) for our Brize Norton depot. The role involves working as part of a small team to service forecourts and drainage systems, ensuring compliance and delivering long-term customer solutions.

Training will be provided where needed, with a focus on safety, paperwork, and customer liaison. The position offers a full-time permanent contract, benefits, and the opportunity to contribute to environmental projects across the UK.

Qualifications

• HGV licence required with ADR or non-ADR considerations.
• Willingness to undergo full training where required.
• Able to operate as part of a small team delivering site drainage and tank services.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform site tankering, jetting and drain cleaning works.
• Carry out reporting and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
• Liaise with customers on site and discuss ongoing works and services.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in good repair and ready for use.
• Support supervision with site improvements and opportunities.

HGV Driver (ADR or non-ADR)
Locations - Brize Norton
Permanent, full-time

Operating from our Brize Norton depot, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly and identifying root causes and provide customers with long a term solution.

The duties of this position include a high degree of manual work required when cleaning site drainage and tank systems to ensure compliance with the EA Guidelines/regulations.

More about the role:

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, which will include jetting and drain cleaning works, interceptor cleaning and servicing and reactive works on petrol filling stations, distribution centres and at large scale drainage infrastructure locations.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
