Job summary

Adler & Allan Ltd. seeks a reliable HGV Tanker Driver for our Droitwich depot. The role involves operating as part of a small team, delivering site tankering works, jetting and drain cleaning for forecourts and distribution centres, with ongoing customer liaison and on-call support.

Full training will be provided; the position offers a permanent, full-time contract with competitive salary and benefits aimed at environmental responsibilities and career progression.

Qualifications

• Reliable HGV driver with a focus on safety and environmental care.
• Willing to work in a team and follow site procedures.
• Drainage experience not required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a 1–2 person team on site tankering: jetting, drain cleaning, interceptor servicing.
• Respond to call outs for critical issues.
• Report near misses and incidents; in-house training provided.
• Liaise with customers on site about ongoing works and services.
• Keep vehicle and tools clean and in good order; report damage.
• Complete works paperwork and submit on time to supervision.
• Coordinate with supervision and suggest improvements.
• Perform any other duties as qualified.

Operating from Droitwich, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly and identifying root causes and provide customers with long a term solution.

The duties of this position include a high degree of manual work required when cleaning site drainage and tank systems to ensure compliance with the EA Guidelines/regulations.

More about the role:

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, which will include jetting and drain cleaning works, interceptor cleaning and servicing and reactive works on petrol filling stations and distribution centres.
• Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
