Job summary

Holcim UK is hiring an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our expanding logistics team based at the RMX plant in Whetstone, Leicester.

You will operate concrete mixer trucks across the region, ensuring safe delivery, presentation and fuel efficiency, with flexibility for weekend and occasional night work. An HGV licence and CPC card are desirable, and Holcim promotes a diverse, equal-opportunity environment.

• Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Flexible hours including potential weekends and nights.
• Experience with concrete is desirable but not essential.
• HGV licence and CPC card desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.

The Opportunity

We have a new vacancy for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our expanding logistics team based out of our RMX plant in Whetstone Leicester.

Responsible for the day to day operation of a concrete mixer truck based predominantly in Whetstone RMX plant but on occasions will be required to operate at other plants within the region. To drive any vehicle of the company’s fleet which has been assigned and a current licence is held. To uphold the high standard of image, presentation and delivery service for which the company is known and to strive to improve fuel efficiencies and reduce cost minimisation.

Who You Are

• Can work alone or part of a team.
• Flexible approach to hours as this role will require some weekend and potentially night working.
• Knowledge of AI Policies and procedures an advantage.
• Knowledge of concrete desired but not essential.
• Customer Focused.
• Good Communication skills required.
• Previous HGV licence and CPC card is desirable.
• MPQC is preferred
