Job summary

Holcim Ltd in Plymouth, Devon, is seeking an experienced HGV Mixer Driver to join our regional fleet. You’ll deliver concrete across the South West from our Ready-Mix depot, maintaining safety and accuracy and supporting daily operations.

We require a valid Category C licence, strong knowledge of the South West, and IT literacy to use our delivery and tracking systems. Commitment to safety and excellent communication with colleagues and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C licence required.
• Good geographical knowledge of the South West.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe driving.
• IT literacy to use delivery/tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete mixer truck and deliver across the South West region.
• Maintain safety and vehicle standards on all runs and at depots.
• Travel to Ready-Mix depots, with flexibility to operate at other plants as needed.

The Opportunity

Looking to take your HGV driving career to the next level? Whether you're an experienced Class 2 Mixer Driver or new to the field, we'll fully support your development and help you transition from HGV to Mixer driving with full training provided!

We're on the lookout for a dedicated and safety-focused HGV Mixer Driver to join our team. Regionally based, you'll be delivering across the South West region. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of a concrete mixer truck based predominantly in Kessel at our Ready-Mix depot but on occasions will be required to operate at other plants within the region.

What will you bring?

• You'll be a safe driver, with a valid Category C licence.
• You'll have good geographical knowledge of the South West.
• You'll have an excellent awareness of safety and input this into your driving ability.
• You'll need to be IT literate, as you'll spend time learning our IT systems to track your deliveries.
• You'll have excellent communication skills, able to speak with colleagues and customers confidently.
