Job summary

Holcim UK is seeking a dedicated HGV Mixer Driver based around Portsmouth for regional deliveries across the South East. You will operate a concrete mixer truck, focusing on safety, accuracy, and timely deliveries from our Ready‑Mix depot.

We welcome experienced drivers with a valid Category C licence, strong safety awareness, and good IT skills to track deliveries and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C licence required.
• Good geographical knowledge of the South West.
• IT literacy to track deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive concrete mixer truck safely and legally and deliver to sites across the South East.
• Operate from the Portsmouth Ready-Mix depot and occasional other plants within the region.
• Maintain delivery logs and ensure equipment is safe and clean.

The Opportunity

Looking to take your HGV driving career to the next level? Whether you’re an experienced Class 2 Mixer Driver or new to the field, we’ll fully support your development and help you transition from HGV to Mixer driving with full training provided! We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and safety‑focussed HGV Mixer Driver to join our team, regionally based, you’ll be delivering across the South East region. Responsible for the day to day operation of a concrete mixer truck based predominantly in Portsmouth at our Ready‑Mix depot but on occasions will be required to operate at other plants within the region.

Who You Are

• You’ll be a safe driver, with a valid Category C licence.
• You’ll have good geographical knowledge of the South West.
• You’ll have an excellent awareness of safety and input this into your driving ability.
• You’ll need to be IT literate, as you’ll spend time learning our IT systems to track your deliveries.
• You’ll have excellent communication skills, able to speak with colleagues and customers confidently.
