Job summary

TRC Yorkshire, on behalf of our client in Bury St Edmunds, is seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team with permanent opportunities for the right candidates. You will transport palletised parcels between delivery units and courier locations, and help with loading when required.

Shifts include nights and twilights with start times; pay rates are £18.17 per hour (nights) and £17.41 per hour (twilights) PAYE.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (CAT C) entitlement.
• New Pass Drivers Welcome.
• Valid and in-date DCPC (CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence – minor offences only.
• Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.
• Willingness to complete a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A strong safety-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery records.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in Bury St Edmunds (IP32). We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team, with the opportunity of permanent employment for the right candidates.

Pay Rates

• Nights: £18.17 per hour PAYE
• Twilights: £17.41 per hour PAYE

Shifts & Start Times

• Nights: Monday to Sunday, with start times between 22:00pm and 23:59pm
• Twilights: Start time of 16:00pm

The Role
