Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our Film & TV division in the UK. You will operate vehicles to collect and deliver lighting equipment to production locations, studios and depots across the country.

Role involves a rotating shift pattern, driving to diverse locations with a strong focus on safety, load securing, and professional representation to production teams. Training and progression opportunities are offered in a real living wage environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of driving license category C with no more than 6 points.
• CPC certification and tachograph card.
• Proven HGV driving experience in a multi-drop or logistics role.
• Strong knowledge of London and wider UK routes and navigation.
• Experience with navigation apps and transport planning.
• Strong verbal communication to support customers.
• Proactive safety mindset for loading, restraints and weight compliance.
• Desirable: experience delivering to film/TV.
• Desirable: forklift or pallet truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading all equipment safely and securely onto the vehicle prior to departure, using restraints and load protection at all times.

• Represent Sunbelt Film & TV professionally at all times when dealing with production companies, freelance crew and location contacts.
• Ensure that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time.

About The Role

Role will include working a weekly rotating shift pattern of 06:00 - 15:00 and 11:00 - 20:00

We are looking for a talented HGV Drivers to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries of film lighting equipment to and from production locations, studios and depot sites across the UK.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of film and television lighting equipment

About You

What are we looking for?

• Good geographical knowledge of London and the wider UK, including the ability to plan and navigate routes efficiently
• Ability to use navigation and transport apps
• Strong verbal communication skills to support our customers when attending their premises
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers, including loading, load restraint and vehicle weight compliance
• Experience of working in or delivering to film, television or live events (desirable)
• Forklift or pallet truck experience (desirable)
