Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Limited is seeking an HGV Driver Plant/MEWP to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites, while consistently meeting customer expectations.

Role requires full DBS check and a 5-year reference history. You will load/unload equipment, verify roadworthiness, and comply with safety and working time regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum C+E driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• CPC certification is required.
• Tachograph card holder required.
• Proactive safety focus for company vehicles and drivers.
• Polite and professional when visiting customer premises.
• Good geographical knowledge; industry experience desirable.
• Ability to use IT systems; FORS knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods.
• Ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before journeys and secure loads.
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company safety requirements, including working time directives.

Role will require you to pass a full clean DBS check and provide a 5 year reference history Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/ Unload to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations. What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods


• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load


• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant


• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers


• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
