Job summary

HG Recruitment is recruiting professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for our Bristol client. This trunking role offers 10–12 hour night shifts, with start times from 16:00 to 18:00, and a long‑term path from temp to permanent.

We offer full‑time work, weekly PAYE pay at £18.00–£20.00 per hour, a pension scheme, paid annual leave, sick pay, and the chance to secure a permanent position.

Trunking to 2–3 drops to PDCs and back; excellent hourly pay and regular weekly pay available.

Qualifications

• HGV C+E (Class 1) licence required.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph and Driver CPC card.
• Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and the Working Time Directive.
• Strong UK geographical knowledge.
• Professional, customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Trunking to 2–3 drops to PDCs and back.
• Occasional long-haul/night trunking as required.
