Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for Bristol with long-term temp-to-perm opportunities. You will perform trunking to 2–3 PDCs and back, typically on night shifts, with start times around 16:00–18:00.

Roles offer full-time hours, weekly PAYE pay, and potential progression to permanent employment. Must hold a valid HGV C+E licence, CPC, and have driving experience in the UK.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV C+E licence and CPC/driver qualification card.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and Working Time Directive.
• No more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 for trunking to PDCs and back to client locations.
• Operate in compliance with UK road transport regulations and company policies.
• Maintain safety, timely deliveries and communicate with dispatch.
