Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Bristol. We are looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the team on a temp basis.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 04:30 start until ~14:30. The role involves trunking between client hubs, up to 2 runs per shift, and completing all paperwork accurately and safely.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• CPC and Digi Card must be valid.
• Flexible, reliable and professional approach required.
• Good understanding of driver hours regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunking between client hubs.
• Carry out up to 2 runs per shift and occasional collections.
• Ensure deliveries/collections are completed safely and on time.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive regulations.

Location: Bristol Job Type: Temporary with a potential of ongoing work

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour PAYE

Hours & Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday
• 04:30am start until around 14:30pm

The Role

• Completing trunking work between the clients hubs
• Completing up to 2 runs per shift and then on occasions a collection on the way back
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
• Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 3 months experience required
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
• Valid CPC and Digi Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
