Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of a well-known distribution business based in Bristol. We require HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for temporary with potential ongoing work. You will start at 04:30, Monday to Friday, in Bristol, with trunking between hubs and occasional collections.

Role focuses on on-time deliveries, routine paperwork, and strict adherence to driver hours and regulations, maintaining a professional approach at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 3 months driving experience.
• Max 6 points for minor offences only.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card, good understanding of driver hours.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunking work between client hubs.
• Perform up to 2 runs per shift and occasional collections.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are on time and safe.
• Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Ensure compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Bristol. We are looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the team on a temp basis.

Location: Bristol Job Type: Temporary with a potential of ongoing work

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour PAYE

Hours & Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday
• 04:30am start until around 14:30pm

The Role

• Completing trunking work between the clients hubs
• Completing up to 2 runs per shift and then on occasions a collection on the way back
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
• Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 3 months experience required
